Different Ways to Support the
National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations

By contributing to the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations, you can help secure its continued success for years to come. The financial security you help provide will enable the Council to expand and plan for the future. Donations in any of the following ways are welcome:

  • Cash Pledge
    • A simple cash donation. You receive an immediate tax deduction and the pleasure of seeing your donation go to work right away supporting the Council's programs.

  • Bequests in Your Will
    • By naming the Council as a beneficiary in your will, you can make a significant gift without impacting your finances during your lifetime. Through knowing of your bequest, the Council is able to engage in long-term planning.

  • Charitable Gift Annuities
    • A Charitable Gift Annuity allows you to make a contribution of cash or assets to the Council which distributes a fixed income to you for life. The greater your age, the greater your annuity return. This gift offers you an immediate tax deduction and partially tax-free annuity payments.

  • Charitable Remainder Trusts
    • When you transfer cash or an asset to the Council, you will receive annual income for life or a specified number of years. This tax-exempt trust provides income directly to you or those who you designate. When the term of the trust is over or the trust is terminated, the trust's remainder is distributed to the Council.

  • Retirement Plans
    • Consider naming the Council the beneficiary of your retirement plan if you no longer need retirement assets for future financial security. Reduce estate and income taxes and leave less highly taxed assets to heirs when you make a charitable gift of assets from your IRA, Keogh, or other qualified retirement plan.

  • Gifts of Life Insurance
    • Reap attractive tax benefits by naming the Council as policy owner and irrevocable beneficiary of your life insurance policy. This gift can be made by transferring an existing policy to the Council or by establishing a new policy.
