PRESS CORPS

Any and all students that wish to observe and participate in the National Model without serving as a delegate of a specific country on a specific council are invited to join the National MAL Press Corps. The Press Corps will report on the proceedings of the seven councils and the Arab Court of Justice in the daily Jareeda al-Youm. The Press Corps provides an opportunity for students with strong writing skills and creative abilities to immerse themselves in the issues being discussed at the Model in a unique way.

All students involved in the Press Corps will meet immediately after the Opening Session to delegate tasks and begin production of the first issue. The Press Corps is responsible for delivering a final and full issue of the Jareeda al-Youm for printing at the end of activities Friday & Saturday. Copies of the publication will be available for students, faculty, guests, and judges at the beginning of morning sessions on Saturday & Sunday. Press Corps participants are eligible for awards based on voting by students and input by judges.

The National Council reserves the right to review all material before publication.
