Study:

2008 Summer Arabic Language Programs

During the summer of 2008 the Yemen Language Center (YLC) through the Yemen College of Middle Eastern Studies (YCMES) will offer three 5-week academic terms of Arabic instruction. Students are invited to attend any combination of one, two or all three terms.

Term 7: 5 weeks June 08 to July 10
Term 8: 5 weeks July 13 to August 13
Term 9: 5 weeks August 17 to September 17

 

ONLY $2960 FROM THE UNITED STATES FOR FIVE WEEKS

Price includes the following:
1. Arabic Instruction - 4 hours of class, 5 days a week; max 8 students per class. Al-Kitaab textbook not included (available at YCMES for $65).
2. Two meals per day - breakfast and lunch, five days a week Saturday-Wednesday.
3. Housing - in a shared room at one of the Yemen Language Center’s housing facilities. Single rooms may be available with additional costs.
4. Round trip airfare – New York/ Washington DC/ Boston - Sana’a - New York/ Washington DC/ Boston
5. Services – airport pickup, high-speed internet, 24 hour on call emergency staff, library, visa services, travel arrangements, 24 hour guards and more.
6. Excursions - One 4-day excursion to Hadhramout and 2 day trips to historical sites in Yemen.

A housing deposit of $100 is due in addition to the cost of the package price. This will be returned at the conclusion of your stay, minus any charges for damages.

Students also have the option of paying an extra $45 for the YLC/YCMES to arrange a visa.
